Victoria Rose Miller was born and raised in South Africa and trained under the late Francois Visser. Her early work focussed on the dramatic African landscape, often featuring the Kokerboom (Quiver tree) unique to the arid interior.

Now based in the Lake District, Victoria paints the landscape as she experiences it on her travels by foot over the fells and iconic mountains of the region. She works predominantly in oil and is passionate about capturing the power and beauty of nature through art. Her childhood experiences exploring the slopes of the Cape Mountains have given her a natural affinity with the rugged Cumbrian landscape. As a result, her Lake District art embodies passion for this area, which she often explores from her Ambleside home.

Victoria Rose Miller sold her first painting at the age of 14, before being represented by galleries in Cape Town, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch by age 17. We are delighted to be representing her UK work.
