Description
‘Sail is, as all my pieces are, remnants of our industrial past.
In fact it is a more recent past than most. It has been exposed to the ravages of sea, salt and wind showing how deteriorating over the last thirty years can affect what was clean and structural iron. It is a small remnant of a ship wrecked on the rocks of our south west coast. I do hope it is happy that in its next manifestation it is now contemporary art and will live happily with a new owner for many years.’
