Nicholas Marsh
Nicholas Marsh has been creating ceramics for some thirty-five years. He studied 3D Ceramics-based design in Lancaster before going on to live and work in a variety of locations in the world. Each place he has been to adds a distinctive influence to what he makes.
Nick’s present work is a combination of high and low temperature-fired vessels and sculptures. Each piece is carefully textured and glazed, then fired in kilns that enhance and flame-paint the surfaces.
Nicholas Marsh currently lives in England in a small ex-mining village where his grandfather used to dig coal. As Nick says “I am making again under ancestral skies!”
