Jan Huntley-Peace
Jan Huntley-Peace is an award-winning artist based in South Lakeland in England. Jan started her career in couture dressmaking with Zandra Rhodes, Jean Muir, David and Elizabeth Emmanuel. She also worked in an international capacity for the Queen’s dressmaker, Norman Hartnell. She has a degree in Sculpture and Fine Art and it is this interface between creative inspiration, innovative techniques and exquisite detailing which make her work truly unique.
Jan specializes in figurative sculpture, vessels, portraits, and a unique collection of ‘Art to Wear’ jewellery using mainly porcelain, direct botanical print, found objects & bird imagery to express ideas of transformation and transition.
