Chris and Michaela Goan work together from their studio in Argyll, creating ceramic artworks using their own poetry.  The poem on this raku vase reads:

‘berries / like blood / stains on her / shirt /all that red / squirreling / now the summer / sags and / trees are / beset by / mushrooms / by flesh / not flesh / by dry slime / it must be time / to make wine’
