Iveta Goddard
Iveta, based in West Sussex, produces contemporary, handmade ceramics for domestic and decorative use, combining unique design ideas with traditional techniques.
All Iveta’s pottery is hand-made in white earthenware or stoneware. The pots are hand thrown on the pottery wheel or hand-built, using sheets of white clay, as well as combinations of both techniques. They are then engraved or carved and decorated with oxides and colourful glazes, although Iveta likes to decorate minimally to emphasize the natural colour and texture of the clay. They are finally fired in an electric kiln to 1020°C or 1240°C.
