Introducing Peter Worswick

We are very pleased to introduce Peter Worswick, whose landscape and wildlife paintings we are now displaying in the gallery. Peter is a highly talented artist with a long and successful career. He is originally from Lancashire but now lives and paints in Cumbria. After an early career as an electricial engineer Peter returned to his early artistic leanings and began a career as an artist, supported by several part-time jobs.

That decision certainly paid off and he has now been working as a professional artist for 4o years. For much of that time he worked closely with fine art publishers and agents, with his paintings finding homes with collectors both in the UK and abroad.

Peter relocated to Cumbria in 2020, enabling him to get closer to the subjects he loves to paint and at the same time shifting to gallery representation. His favourite mediums are oils and acrylics which he uses to fine effect, whether his subject is landscapes, wildlife or figurative work.
